Trips Down the Rabbit Hole

The first time I fell in, I had no idea what I was getting myself into — later on, spending much time trying to figure out how to get out.

The second time, I think I honestly knew. I did. I saw the red flags and ran straight into them like a bull running for a Matador.

The first time lasted 27 very long months. The second time only 6. But, who is counting. Time of commitment doesn’t click like the hands of a clock when your world is surrealistic. Being released leaves you drained, confused, doubting yourself, in withdrawals. It is a fight to reconnect with you — your life, your friends, your mind.

This series will trip the reader down the hole either through vicarious connection or remembering your own experiences (man or woman) or realizing you need to know what you don’t know.

Journey with me…
